Most law firms charge on an hourly basis, usually dependant upon the experience of the fee earner, the more experience the higher the hourly rate. Whilst we generally charge on the basis of hourly rates, we also charge in other ways for our services. There are occasions where we can assess the scope of the work and propose a fix fee so that our clients are aware of the costs prior to instructing us. We also work on conditional fees “no win – no fee” in appropriate cases, or in some instances work on lower hourly rates with a “top up” on successful completion of the matter.
Our philosophy is to keep our costs as low as possible for our clients by spending our time efficiently. All of our bills are carefully considered prior to rendering them to our clients. Our time based fees are occasionally reduced where circumstances justify a reduction.
Our flexible approach to charging has enabled us to gain new clients where other firms may fail. Our clients have faith in us and often instruct is on a continuing basis safe in the knowledge that they are not going to receive bills that will come as a surprise.
We view each instruction as an opportunity to foster a new relationship. Fair and reasonable fees assist in our clients gaining confidence in our firm. We operate in a totally transparent manner, thus ensuring that our clients are always aware of how their matter is progressing and what their financial commitment is at all times.
